Sampling Instructions

- Anderson Air Samples should be taken at a flow rate of 28.3L/min for 3
minutes.

- Swab samples should be taken in a 4in by 4in square and then swabbing
the Petri dish containing Potato Dextrose Agar in a “Z” pattern.

- Zefon Air-O-Cells should be taken at a flow rate of 15L/min for 10
minutes. Please note that wall cavity samples will usually yield a count
that is TNTC because of all the insulation fibers and other debris.

- Microfive air samples should be taken at a flow rate of 5L/min for 5
minutes. Please note that wall cavity samples will usually yield a count
that is TNTC because of all the insulation fibers and other debris.

- Slide/Tape lifts samples should be taken only with clear scotch tape
(NO PACKING TAPE OR FROSTED TAPE). Place tape on glass slide and label
slide or label the bag that the slide is being transported in.
|
- Bulk samples; please indicated whether one wants a bulk tape lift off
the sample or a viable testing method from the sample on the chain of
custody. Also please label the bag that the sample is being transported
in.
